My personal favourites relating to Dylan Thomas:
www.dylanthomasboathouse.com - For true Dylan devotees a place of pilgrimage. My heart still skips a beat whenever I come around the foot of Laugharne castle and see it again. Friendly, knowledgable staff and fascinating exhibits.
www.dylanthomas.com - The official website and they take that title very seriously. It's managed by the wonderful Dylan Thomas Centre in Swansea many of the staff of which, at the time of writing, are uncertain of their future. It's a great exhibition, well tended... I wish you the best.
www.5cwmdonkindrive.com - What could possibly compare to spending time in the house where Dylan was born - especially now it has been so lovingly restored to its 1914 condition? Possibly only staying the night there. Anne and Geoff Haden have put heart and soul into this house and it shows. But it's not a museum or a shrine - it's a living tribute to the poet which stills resounds with his words and those of other writers.
www.bbc.co.uk/wales/dylanthomas - You can't possibly leave out the BBC - so responsible for nurturing Dylan's work and always prepared to introduce his work to new generations.
www.thenewthreemariners.co.uk - I certainly couldn't leave out my favourite watering hole in Laugharne and the people who frequent it. Special folk, the Laugharnies - Dylan knew that.
www.castlestores.co.uk - Equally I had to mention Charles at the Castle Stores, desperately concerned with the future of the town while keeping it true to itself. Added to that he has an intriguing selection of gifts.
www.abebooks.co.uk/corran-books-ltd - Website for the small bookshop in Laugharne owned by the legendary George Tremlett. If you like getting your nose into a huge, eclectic selection of books then this is the place.
